Born and raised in the Dallas area, Amanda believes Texas is the best place to live! She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and enjoyed participating in volunteer activities such as the Susan G. Komen race with fellow Delta Sigma Pi co-ed fraternity members, volunteering at KNON 89.3 FM throughout the last decade and putting her managerial skills to the test when she interned and helped manage the backstage area of a large outdoor music festival. She received the honors- Suma Cum Laude when graduating with her undergraduate decree. One year later, Amanda obtained her MBA.
In a moment of serendipity, Amanda entered the world of real estate by accepting a position in the administrative department of the Keller Williams Dallas Park Cities office. There her eyes were opened to the exciting, challenging and ever-changing world of real estate. Within a year, Amanda decided to obtain her real estate license and joined the Robinson Clay Team in 2013. In 2015, her contributions to the team were recognized and she was promoted to Operations Manager.
Amanda oversees the daily operations of the team, ensuring all clients are receiving a high level of service. Her goal is for each client to feel that they are the number one priority and to be confident that the Robinson Clay Team is looking out for their best interests. She prides herself on her responsiveness and being able to diffuse any negotiation tensions with her calm demeanor. Amanda wanted to ensure she was a valuable resource to all clients so she studied negotiation processes and, in 2017, she received the designation of Real Estate Negotiation Expert. Like all members of the Robinson Clay Team, Amanda is an avid learner and continuously seeking out new training and educational opportunities to refine her skills so the Robinson Clay Team may represent clients well.
When at home, she loves to spend time with her husband, two children and two rescue cats- Waffles and Tiger. Together they enjoy spending the day at the horse stables and riding, playing board games, gardening in the greenhouse, watching rugby and drinking a "cuppa" with a tea biscuit. The last item is thanks to her British born husband’s influence! Amanda also enjoys traveling, reading and getting to know people.
